Buenavista Golf

The golf course of Buenavista del Norte is located in the extreme northeast of Tenerife, next to the Teno Mountain range (natural area protected within the category of rural park). The area is well known for its mild climate all year round.
It has 18 holes, a par of 72 and a total length of 6,150 metres. The Clubhouse is situated on raised ground at the centre of the course with panoramic views from the terraces and cafeteria of all of the holes.
The course is made up of 6 holes each of pars 3, 4 and 5. Of the outward nine holes, the most demanding are the par-4’s while the second part of the course requires more precision on the par-3’s, above all on the 15th and the 17th, as they are situated on the edge of a cliff!
There is a water hazard running from a well next to the old “Hacienda de la Fuente” estate house, next to the 1st hole, to the 17th where it runs out into the sea.
The fairways were designed to respect as far as possible the natural terrain, and the new areas were planted with local species of flora.
The greens on 5 holes lie next to the coast, formed by cliffs where the waves break against the rocks to form a spectacle of unusual beauty. On some holes you will have the sensation that you are hitting the ball towards the ocean. The central lake between the 9th and 18th, opposite the Clubhouse, is linked by waterfalls to give these holes a very special atmosphere all of their own.
